| Lou Anne Crumpler
has a background in business development, communications, marketing
and organizational management. Along with Terrence Mann, she founded
the Carolina Arts Festival in 2001, after a year of developing the
concept of creating a nonprofit organization to present and produce
new performing arts pieces. A graduate of Southern Methodist University
in Dallas, she worked in the marketing and communications industry
in Dallas and Washington D.C. for several years before coming to Raleigh
in 1985. She has created a number of successful for profit and nonprofit
corporations, including a public relations practice that specializes
in projects for clients in the arts, health and education arenas.
Lou Anne, her husband and two daughters live in Raleigh. |
