The Carolina Arts Festival
is celebrating its third anniversary with our most exciting original

of Rock Musicals" starring Terrence Mann, Alice Ripley, Brian
d'Arcy James, Norm Lewis and Lillias White. The region's outstanding
teen singing group, the Capital Ambassadors, will again perform
in the concert. All of the young participants in the Festival's

Cary Youth Theatre, will also perform in the concert.
Presented this year as part of the annual Summerfest Series, the
North Carolina Symphony joins the Broadway stars and our own rock
band to bring you the music from the best of Broadway's rock musicals
including songs from Hair, Cats, Rent, Superstar, Evita, Pippin,
Fame, Grease, Footloose, Dreamgirls, Tommy, Aida, The Lion King,
Hairspray and more! Ken Raskin will be conducting the North Carolina
Symphony, while McCrae Hardy leads the Festival Rock Band.
